What is your hometown?

“Growing up, I lived in Princeton, New Jersey, where I resided until I went to college. I currently live in Gettysburg.”

Do you have family also in the medical field?

"No one in my family is in the medical field except for me."

What inspired you to become an orthodontist?

“After working for The Prudential Insurance Company, I realized I wanted to deliver direct patient care and have a hand in helping people every day. I was deeply inspired by my father’s dentist, who was the chair of the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Pennsylvania.

Also, I enjoy fixing things. When I see something that needs to be fixed, I imagine the process of fixing it and the result in mind. Orthodontics was my favorite part of school.”

When did you join Gettysburg Dental Associates?

“I’m a recent addition to the Gettysburg Dental Associates team—I began working here in December 2022. I worked in a private practice in Central New Jersey and a group practice in Northern New Jersey prior to joining the team.”

What do you enjoy most about being an orthodontist?

“Diagnosis and treatment planning cases. I love helping people look and feel better and giving them confidence in their smile.”

What makes Gettysburg Dental Associates unique?

“The office—and the people here—are genuine and supportive. Everyone is realistic with treatment planning and outcomes.”

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

“I love fishing and going to the beach. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends, my beautiful wife, Kathleen, and our two dogs: a pug named Tommy and a bulldog named Beatrice.”
